An on-going project I started in 2018, after listening to Mort Garson’s album, “Plantasia”. I was inspired to create these artworks showcasing different moods through plants and insects.

Marie Claire China
Oct 2018 issue
I was commissioned by Marie Claire China to create three editorial illustrations for their October 2018 issue. They were part of an article imagining how future lifestyles might look like. The article addresses online subcultures, future trends in fashion and sustainability, and how future cities might look like with the new architecture being built around the old one and creating an interesting visual mix.

Marie Claire China
Dec 2018 issue
I had the pleasure to work again with Marie Claire China to create three editorial illustrations for their December 2018 issue. Marie Claire China commissioned these three illustrations to accompany an article on the booming Chinese fashion market in the latest years, Chinese fashion brands, how clothes shopping has changed along with the technology we use – as lately online shopping has become more prevalent than in-store purchases.

The Shanghairen
I was invited to create a cover for the The Shanghairen, a fan project inspired by the iconic illustrated cover series of The Parisien & The Tōkyōiter. The full project with the other covers can be seen on Behance or on the website:
